Revontulet Talks , Revontulet Thinks

Revontulet gave a dissatisfied flick of his tail. Things have been rather dull and humdrum for the quietus lately, and it wasn’t doing him much good. Ebony hooves pressed into the pristine white sand of the Spaigge coast. The smell of the ocean filled the stallion’s senses and the cool tropical breeze continued to churn all around him. It was early in the day, and the sun had yet to reach its highest peak, but all was well as the weather showed. A cloudless day with the yawning sun and a picturesque beach, oh how perfect. Revon snickered at the thought, for what he needed right now was imperfect. Everything was the same, everything was so god damn peaceful. He needed excitement, entertainment, anything to rid him of this boredom! All he’s ever done lately was just walk around and pretend there was something worth living for. He hated all of this, this not having a cause thing. So many stags would actually have a reason to get up in the morning, to run a herd, to serve in an army and battle, to get revenge for a loved one. Revontulet had in no way something so traumatic or life changing to motivate him and give him a cause.
The long, jet black mane and tail of the quietus brushed along the sand as he walked, causing bits of the worn down coral to catch at the ends. He walked along the shoreline, just out of the ocean’s reach as small waves continued to wash up against it. Revon tried not to look too bored, he would stop every now and then and lower his head to examine an odd shell or colored bit of glass. It didn’t seem to catch his fascination much, but it was still something. It was becoming a bad habit, growing so easily bored and tossing away every possibility in hopes of finding something even better. The stag kicked at the sand in irritation, for he began to remember words his father once told him. Told that he lacked an understanding of responsibility, and that he was a coward to always throw things away because he simply ‘got bored’ with them. His sister would joke about how he would never find a lover, for Revon was without the dedication and patience a true relationship needed. Perhaps she was right. Revontulet saw no argument in it, the thought was absurd to him anyways. Love. Tch.
Continuing to walk, Revon made his way down the Spaigge beach, taking his time and letting the sun’s morning glory settle over him. He needed something to get his mind off of things, desperately. The world to end, mass destruction, pure chaos, or even just company, anything would suffice. Just as long as it cured the boredom that seemed to plague him.

Arrabella figured that it was time to get her butt up and make the best of such a warm day. The sun beat firmly down on her sun kissed and ivory pelt, awakening her from the night’s slumber. Nestled down between two massive root wads, located in the forest next to the beach, she found herself awakening. It had been a solemn played last two weeks. She had done little and spoke barely to anything worth speaking to. She had to talk to something or she was going to go crazy so she often found herself talking to the birds and small woodland creatures, but it was time for a sophisticated conversation where it didn’t end up asking where she had last seen some acorns. Those damn squirrels were a one tracked mind.
Vibrant cerulean orbs slowly slid open as the sun shined through the canopy off trees. The warmth was so inviting, it was like it was coxing her to wake up and start her day. Lazily her lids closed, taking in such wonderful weather. Through the silence of the forest her stomach rudely growled, breaking all that was still. Frowning slightly her orbs opened and her mind was made. She needed to take a walk to the beach and have breakfast on the luscious sea grass. The vegetation on the beach was always so filling and lush that it made her mouth water just thinking about it. Ivory tendons submerged from beneath her weight and in a blink she was standing. The left side of her pristine pelt had small debris clingy to it from the forest floor. With a light shake, the greedy pieces fell to where they belonged.
Cerulean orbs glanced left to right, and right to left only to find birds fluttering from limb to limb and a few occasional squirrels and chipmunks—all was safe. Nostrils exhaling, she let herself over the root wad and moved toward the salty smell of the beach. From where she slept she could heard the soft crash of the waves against the rocks and rolling up the beach. She honestly wasn’t that far off. Ivory daggers moved casually with her cranium low in a relaxed manner. Quickly the texture beneath her daggers quickly changed as she submerged from the shade of the forest and into the gleaming light of the beach. Sinking just slightly in the sand, the filly moved nonchalantly towards the large patches of sea grass that danced delicately in the soft salty breeze.
Not bothering to scan the beach, she moved into the grass, letting the lengthy vegetation tickle her barrel. Lowering her petite cranium into its lush depths she let her enamels lock against the stocks and began her feast. The filly ate with a lax manner; she was in no hurry, nowhere to be and no one to see. It was how her life was now. Ever since she left her fathers she found herself living a very uneventful life. At her old harem she had suitors lined up for her. It was fun to toil around with them, lead them on but now life was boring and she was luckily if she had a bird to converse with.
Ivory tendrils danced lightly in the beach breeze. Her lengthy flag danced on the surface of the vegetation, some staying on the surface and other lengthy tendrils tumbled on the surface of sand. Her thick forelock brushed against the bleach face as her orbs closed with a pleased manner. The vibrant rays danced on her sun kissed pelt-making shine with utter radiance. The filly was really a grand site on such a grand day. Little to her discretion, was she wasn’t alone. If she had taken more precaution she would have taken a little more time checking her surrounding and a less time eating she would no that, but unfortunately the breeze was not in her favor. Instead of his scent being carried to her, it was blowing her decedent perfume straight into his grasps.
Arrabella walks. Arrabella thinks.
