'Lonely traveler, ain't trying to battle ya But if you're feeling tuff dog, I welcome all challengers Ain't got no family, you see there's one of me Might lose your pulse standing two feet in front of me '
Spring brought its showers with it, the skies were growing from pale blue to a light gray. Faint thunder could be heard off in the distance, as more clouds continued to build and the gray grew darker and darker with time. The waves that were once calm began to claw at the shoreline more rapidly, the height of them growing taller and the current now deadly to any creature without gills. It was truly a sight to see all of the power that surged from the Ocean, and this fellow decided to come right out in it. The ivory stocking legs carried the massive creature along the shoreline, crater size hoof prints getting left behind in the dampening sand. Voodoo was one to enjoy storms, and what better way to enjoy something than to engulf oneself in it. A smirk was plastered upon his lips, while the rest of his features remained still.
This fellow was not one to display much emotion other than smirks or chuckles, no real emotion or feeling was ever emitted. It was eerie indeed, and with a creature this large and holding this exotic appearance one could not miss him. The sunlight no longer warmed the shoreline, instead light rain drops began to sprinkle. Voodoo was curious to see if any other creature wander out in this storm, and also it gave him time to be in solitude which pleased this stallion. The rain drops made the liver- sorrel coat darken. The ivory markings only becoming more apparent on his flesh, the white skull was such a contrast against those illusive rust hued eyes. The rain could be heard dropping upon his grand horns, while droplets dripped as he strolled down the beach. Lighting flashed across the skies causing this intimidating beast to look quite primitive in this situation.
Voodoo paused for a moment the churning muscles coming to a halt, the creature scanned the lands. Then his gaze cast out to the wicked sea, watching the waves trash about. The stallion then remained still, a statue like form. Chiseled by the gods themselves it would seem, though the devil painted his flesh the unique coloring. It would look to someone in this lighting and at a distance that it was almost the form of a giant skeleton, quite haunting and ghastly. Nostrils flared sending droplets of water in every direction, a lovely grin spreading over the face. The only feature that changed, while everything else held a frozen composure. No being could ever really read this stallions true emotions or what he actually felt.

Sang had found herself wandering yet again, though it wasn't as if she had anything else to do. Still trespassing around the Pacis territory, she paid no mind to this though as she'd yet to encounter a single Pacis here, let alone one that might tell her to leave. She meant no harm, so surely her trespassing might be ignored. She wasn't one to pay much attention to the differences between species anyway, but thus far she'd only come face to face with a mare of her own kind and no one else. Her ivory marked head tilted as she peered skyward, watching as the stormy clouds began to roll in and mask the previously bright mid-day sky. As the first scattered droplets of rain splatted against her muzzle she uttered a quiet snort, shaking her head before lowering it to a normal position once more. From the rain forest to the beach it seemed as though the stormy weather was just following her. Of course, it was a foolish thing to think. None the less, she appreciated the rain anyway. The cool rain soaking her war-torn skin always felt so refreshing.
The proeliator mare traipsed steadily along the beach, maneuvering up the rocky outcroppings and then back down onto the soft, pale sand. Her miss-matched gaze drifted, taking in the emptiness of the land around her. She couldn't help but utter a somewhat dismal sigh; while she'd always favored solitude she found this a bit ridiculous. Being an equine - a herd animal - she found that despite all things she found herself needing the company of others, at least now and again. Besides, it got a bit boring wandering endlessly by ones-self. It felt as though she'd already ventured through all of this land that there was. She briefly longed to simply go back to the wandering harem she'd previously lived amongst, it was the closest thing she'd had to a 'home' and she couldn't help but reminisce. Nostrils flexed as she uttered a loud snort, giving her head a violent shake and taking off at a rough trot. Standing around feeling sorry for oneself got them nowhere.
She sped up slightly, launching herself upward in a powerful leap as she bounded up another rocky hill that stood in her way. Slate hooves thudded sharply against the rocks beneath her feet as she skidded down the other side of the outcrop, wet sand spraying up her faintly feathered legs. She slowed again to a trot now, jogging along easily as her hooves sank in the swampy sand. By now the was soaked and the rain had successfully cleansed the air of the scents of another stranger that was just around the bend from her. As she wove her way along the beach the brief flashes of lightning brightened the otherwise dark atmosphere as she followed the curve of the beach around a bend. Slender ears perked alertly as she caught the silhouette of a stranger standing not far away, his white markings stood out quite vibrantly and made him easy to see. She slowed her pace to a fluid walk, wandering over toward the strange stallion. Her head tipped slightly in an inquisitive manner as she took note of the odd antlers that curved from his skull. A faint grin tugged across her muzzle as the bay mare came to a halt next to him. "A bit far from home, aren't you?"

The storm clouds continued to brew in the skies, though without change in the pace of the rain drops meant that this storm was here to stay. It did not bother the massive stallion, as his saucer pan sized hooves danced along the shoreline once more. The lighting when it illuminated the land, could not have given more of a 3-D effect to his 'skeleton' coat. Surreal rust hued eyes scanned the surroundings, as he listened carefully for any sound other than the rain. This fellow had been thinking lately of gaining some lands of his own, that way he could do whatever he pleased and no other could say otherwise. Grinning mischievously, the stallion's nostrils alerted him to the aroma of a lovely perfume that stood out even in the clam but steady storm. Halting once again taking the regal, statue like formation as Voodoo waited to see what vixen was coming in his direction.
Voodoo was very much like his species and yet completely opposite too, and maybe not in a good sense. As the mountainous creature almost thought that the female may not arrived, the sound of slushy hoof beats were audible. This fellow was overly pleased, of course he couldn't help but think darker thoughts when this beauty arrived, an addiction was an addiction no matter what a being is addicted too. Voodoo allowed a charming smile to spread across his lips, those intense eyes met the gaze of the opposing female. The vixen was bold, and by the looks and instincts he knew this female was of the same species making this meeting even more intriguing. The only trait he did not obtain from his species is the thought that females are lesser, no to Voodoo they were quite magical in order to bring life into the world.
With her divine vocals a rough, and very deep toned chuckle released into the atmosphere. The stallion's voice was just as deep, and though charming it was hallow and held no real emotion. "Dame I believe the same for you." Voodoo was not all brute strength, and testosterone no instead he was an intelligent fellow and wise due to his years of listening and gaining any knowledge he could obtain. He was amused by the way she had approach and spoke so confidently, Voodoo shifted his massive frame to circle in front of her. The rust hued eyes that gazed were contrasted greatly by the splashed white face that this equine carried. His rabicano coat was exquisite and the pattern truly rare, though Voodoo was a rare being in himself. Tilting his skull his lips parted to speak once more.
"What is such a precious gem doing playing in the rain, one so delicate could be carried out to sea." His word were sarcastic yes, but charming and the word play was quite amusing. Certainly he did find her to be precious, unlike the norm of his species. But when he spoke of delicate, no Proeliator was delicate they were made of steel in a manner of speaking. Nostrils flared lightly as the rain continued to come down upon their flesh, his eyes not frightened to analyze her physique but returned to her gaze. His attention was completely focused on the vixen, waiting to see how she would react to his speech and his actions. It was truly interesting to see how others functioned and felt, when one is a frozen it is quite fascinating to see what feeling is like.

A grin widened across her muzzle in amusement as she held gazes with the stallion and he spoke. A faint laugh escaped her as she tipped her head, moving it entirely to watch him as he circled around her in order to overcompensate for her right eye. She didn't reply though, not yet. Instead she tracked his movements until he came to a halt once more, her gaze flickering over his frosted liver coat. Her bicolored tail gave an idle flick, long black strands tangling around her inky hocks as the pangare mare stood facing the stallion, the storm continuing to roar around them. She had the feeling that he was going to speak again and thus saw no need to interrupt nor cut him off and so she held her silence. It was only a second or two longer though before the rabicano stud spoke again. A quiet bemused laugh escaped her at his words, though more or less immune to his charm she'd decided that his company wasn't bad.
"One can't be far from home if they have no home to be far from." She stated simply in response to his first sentence. The bay mare took a step forward, tipping her head in a way that made it look as though her ghostly right eye was watching him, despite the fact that it was glazed over as it was she could still roughly see out of it - though detail and color were lost and things in general were blurred. Sang stretched forward slightly, charcoal muzzle hovering near his shoulder for a brief moment as the rain continued to pour down on the both of them. A quiet snort escaped her as she stepped forward, circling closely around the male near enough that their hides nearly brushed as she came to a halt on his other side.
Another crack of thunder sounded, rumbling the earth beneath her feet. The bay female couldn't help but enjoy the feeling of the very earth rumbling underfoot. Invisible brow quirked as she tipped her head to peer at the peculiar male once more. She had no need to look up at him as he was only a few inches taller than herself, but rather the movement was used to compensate for the faulty vision in her right eye. "And you? Do you have no home or do you just like standing out in the rain?" Questioned the bay, a sly grin splayed across her muzzle. The rain had already soaked her to the skin and her drenched forelock fell over her eyes, the hairs sticking to her blazed face in a rather frustrating manner. She gave her slightly masculine head a sharp shake, unintentionally tossing a flurry of droplets in the stallion's direction. She'd yet to move or put any space between the two of them, the mare was unaware or simply didn't care that someone might take it the wrong way. Sang simply had no concept of personal space.
The grade mare shifted her weight in an idle manner for a moment before coming to a realization. "Sang." She suddenly stated. "I'm Sang."

'Lonely traveler, ain't trying to battle ya But if you're feeling tuff dog, I welcome all challengers Ain't got no family, you see there's one of me Might lose your pulse standing two feet in front of me '
The rain droplets had begun to fall at a quicker pace, the world around them was subtle chaos while they simply chatted in the brewing storm. The massive fellow allowed for close attention to be given to this vixen, the grin that widened across her lips, the manner in which her eyes shifted over his frame. Voodoo watched carefully, noting her every movement and action. This female was quite unusually marked, not to the extent of his but very unique still. Favoring this Voodoo kept his composure, wondering what may be frolicking through this mares mind at this very moment in time. The words came next, a beautiful voice she held. Oh no home, how sad it was that a stunning creature was left in the cold. Ah, but he know owned a land possibly he would invite her there. A slight smirk graced his lips delicately, as he watched the mare once more.
The divine creature was circling his mountainous frame, she was not far from his height but still his massive muscles mass exceeded most he met. Nostrils inhaled softly yet deeply, the vixen's scent intoxicating the stallion. Though unlike most who would have become quite antsy about such close proximity, he stood completely still like he had been molded into a statue in a matter of seconds. Illusive rust hued eyes followed her body, and now she stood on his side. So the mare was in fact blind in one eye, this movement had placed the better eye in his direction. This look was followed by a question, slightly sarcastic and slightly rude. It was entertaining to this stallion, not at all offended by the manner in which she ordered her speech. "Imperium Ruins I claim." Simply stating though the frozen voice was quite enchanting.
Just when Voodoo believed the lady had finished speaking she seemed to blurt her name, it was hilarious yet the inner thoughts were not shown physically. Voodoo grinned and then spoke. "Sang, you should not be without a home such a being as yourself. " His words a bit cryptic yet one could manager to understand with slight intelligence. Smirking a bit the stallion tilted his skull so that he could gaze upon the beauty a bit more, the fogged eye did not bother him for her confidence was what truly made this fellow attracted to her. Voodoo was not really inviting her to his lands just yet, but if she took it that way he would accept. For this Sang seemed to be something of interest, not of the norm. "I am Voodoo, a pleasure for sure." A light grin swayed across his lips, eyes lay gazing upon the oddly colored mare.

Her black tipped ears twitched slightly to catch his words as he spoke of the land he called his own. Imperium Ruins. A place she'd yet to see, or at least one that she couldn't recall. Of course she didn't particularly know any of the lands simply by their names alone; one would have to talk with someone who knew the lands for that to happen and this rabicano stranger was the first of such she'd met. Sang could safely say she didn't mind his company, he was much softer spoken than those she usually made acquaintances with. The simple calm conversation was rather relaxing, despite how the two were standing out in a thundering storm.
A quiet chuckle escaped her at his next more cryptic speaking. Her robust head tipped slightly more, invisible brow quirking in bemusement. "A 'being such as my self', hmm? And what sort of being would that be?" The blood bay mare shifted her weight in an idle manner, the sloppy sand beneath her feet squishing and squelching at the movement. When he spoke his name she returned her gaze to him, giving a slight nod of acknowledgement. "Well, it's nice to meet you then; Voodoo." Her head lowered slightly, bicolored forelock plastered to her blazed face. Her nostrils and ribcage flexed simultaneously as she uttered a snort, giving her head a slight shake before meeting his gaze again. "I suppose I probably shouldn't keep you from your herd any longer then." She said curtly, giving her tail an idle flick.
"I'm sure there's shelter to be found somewhere around here." Her gaze drifted slightly as her line of sight traveled along the rocky outcropping, perhaps there was a cave there or something of the sort to take shelter in until the storm was gone or morning had come, whichever came first. While Sang quite enjoyed the rain and the rumbling of a storm she could only take having rain poured on her in buckets for so long. Despite how she enjoyed his company it was probably time for them to part ways, he had a herd to go back to after all. Of course Sang could have asked to accompany him; she was simply not the sort to act like some beggar, she'd lived in worse places anyway, spending a night in some damp cave along the beach wouldn't be so bad. She wasn't used to having to rely on asking things anyway.
The pangare mare was much more used to others making their desires known; if they wanted the company of another it was either asked or simply ordered by the higher ranking creature. She'd yet to adapt to a world with no choice. Though despite how reserved her loyalty and respect were it'd been taught to naturally at least give a slight bit of consideration to someone who held a higher rank than herself, in this case Voodoo. As far as she'd been taught asking someone higher ranking than herself for anything was more or less an insult.
