Barkley hadn't been in this part of the land yet, hell, he hadn't been to a lot of the land. He had however, claimed himself a land, something he could finally call his own again. He wouldn't make the mistake of losing it or anything for that matter again. He already did that in his life, he didn't need to have a repeat. Part of him wanted to look all over this forsaken land, searching for her, but then the other half knew it would be hopeless. She was gone. Like the wind in winter, bitterly cold but nothing you could do to change it. Sooner or later, after spending time in the climate, your being adapted to the changes, adapted to the new way of life you would have to learn to lead.
Stepping carefully on the iced ground, he looked at the frozen water. One slip and he would be in the center, and he almost knew for a fact, it wouldn't handle his weight, the ice would crack and he would be a goner. However, would that be such a bad idea? What did he offer to the world now, that any other stallion couldn't offer.. Questions couldn't be answered if he didn't voice them, funny thing is, even if he did ask, no one would be around to answer them. He hadn't seen a single horse in the past weeks he'd been around.
He let out a stiff chuckle. Not much amusement in his life at this point. Rolling his eyes, he kept walking. He wasn't going to let himself dwell in his self-pity. Call it pride, or selfishness, or whatever the hell you want but he wouldn't do it. Seeing a larger platform, he felt his flank shiver in the decrease of temperature. However, it didn't effect him the way he supposed it would. It was cold but not unbearably so. Stopping as he approached the platform, he looked it over. Was it safe or not? Taking a step forward, he braced for his fall..
Opening his eyes, half expecting to see passing walls, instead he felt heat seep into his hooves. Confusion sparked in his mind. Stepping in the direction he felt the heat coming, he relaxed a bit. He was prepared for whatever he found.

:: P A N D O R A :: ϟ Am I alone in this fight . . . ϟ Pandora Speaks Pandora Thinks Malice Speaks A long frustrated sigh drifted through Pandora's peachy nares. "How long have I been in this cave?" the constant echoing sound of the essa's pale daggers dragging across an icy surface was one of the many reminders that she was within an isolated area. It seemed like forever since her hooves had contracted on steady ground, and oh how she yearned for soil. "I think we're lost." the irritatingly deep voice of Malice crackled right beside the now frozen ivory mare. With only a rippling snort for her reply, the demoness swiveled her radars. "Well, if you'd shut up over there I might be able to find our way out." silky vocals slithered from the dormant lady's nape, aggressive but honey sweet.
With ebony ribbon twirling, Dora arched her nasal passage upward. An agitated grumble vibrating through her glossy chest, sparking tiny critters into a mad dash for protection. Nothing that the crystalline femme could smell gave her any hints to an exit. Grinding her molars, Panny dragged her appendages forward. Dull unseeing blood shot optics starred straight ahead at the non spacious- stalagmite ridden cave surface. "Ifyou'dshutupoverthere." immaturely, Malice mimicked the blind Pandora. Snorting, the vixen tossed her skull around- from left to right, forelock jumping around by her left pierced lobe. As aggravating as her stalker may be, Dour could hardly keep her kissers from reaching the extent of a smile.
A sudden blast of hot air rippled by the doe's cold frigid bodice, sending mixed messages to Pandora's senses. Stubbornly, the fox slugged on, even with her only system of seeing dazed in confusion from the sudden temperature change. Ultimately, her flaws with not hesitating took the persistent feathered equine for a slide. After a whinny of pure surprise, Dour found herself with all limbs sprawled out from their usual equality. Damn it! While being her normal self (ignoring her crazed receivers), Dora managed to step right off of a sturdy path and onto smooth ice.
Muscles slowly began to loosen their tension as Panny's frightened heart rate slowed to it's normal rhythm. "Way to go clumsy." Once the young essa released captured air from her screaming lungs, she raised her tiara to full height. Boa constricting forward, incisors snapped on thin air- in the direction of where Pandora pictured Malice being. Facial features giving an almost pouting look, Dour parted her lips to speak; but before words could find their way out, a mysterious chuckle drifted into the femme's audits. Flushed clean of all present gesturing looks, Dora embodied the state of full awareness. "Who's there?" ϟ . . . Is anybody out there ϟ OOC :: Complete! Muse :: Could be better. He hated being a lone every day, every hour of that day, every minute of that hour. He would trade everything in within minutes, if given the chance. He knew it wasn't possible to bring back the past, and for some horses he knew that they would never ask to bring back their past, but for this stallion, bring back the past would solve every problem he had created and gotten himself into. He would never be in this forsaken empty land, he would be with the one he adored, he would be making a life with the only one who ever knew the good and bad of him. But now, well it was him and these cave walls. Not much company but better then the last few days. The feminine voice echoed and bounced off the walls. At first, Barkley blamed it on his imagination. Al thought if it was purely his imagination, it would have been more sweet, charming. This voice was different. Call him slow, but he realized it was a real voice as he heard a slip, hooves on ice. Carelessness, maybe. Or maybe it was someone who wanted to end their life, much like his thoughts just a few minutes prior.
Silence answered him as he listened intently. Nothing. Maybe he really did imagine everything. Straining his eyes, he glanced around. Grey eyes flickered across the hollow cave walls, in the darkness he saw a figure, a lone figure. Mare. The voice he heard earlier? About to take a step forward, she spoke. "Who's there?" Except when she spoke, she was looking to the left, rather then directly at him. Confusion sparked in the depths of his eyes. He body was tense, he could clearly see that, maybe from her voice or the stiffly outline. But other then that, he couldn't see much else.
My name is Barkley his voice was chilled. Not the deadly, scary voice chilled, but more like the chilled where he wasn't sure weather he wanted to get involved with someone until he knew every aspect of how to react to them I am leader of The Crystalline Liar he again said. Letting his eyes follow her outline, he tilted his head and then back. Something seemed off about her. She seemed lost, but not in the physical aspect. More in the mental state.

On most occasions the ivory vixen was not found so vulnerable and off guard, but considering the circumstances it seemed unavoidable. ϟ . . .
