Bears, bobcats, pumas, and other dangerous carnivorous mammals thrive here which also makes Occultus a prime place for the Proeliators. Vegetation flourishes in abundance with an assortment of goodies to snack on such as rich clover and sweet grass. There are various fresh water streams bubbling up from springs, zigzagging across the land to quench your thirst, and while the forest is indeed beautiful, it’s not what makes Occultus spectacular. Beneath the rich earth are miles and miles of caverns carved out of stone and clay from a river that has long dried up over the centuries. The tunnels are carved with fossils, painted with ancient murals of civilizations of equine creatures past, and dotted with precious gems embedded in the rock wall that emit a soft glow to light your path. It may seem like a labyrinth but should you keep walking without hesitation you will find yourself in the heart of the network of tunnels; a circular opening underground lit by glowing gems. In the middle of the room is a crystal clear pool of water whose origins come from an underground spring beneath the caverns. It is a place to rest safely and undisturbed by the outside world.
