Its the equivalent of the Great Plains. Miles and miles of rolling rills and long waves of grass shutter in the wind. Its full of vegetation year round but acceptable to wild fires. Thunder and lighting come often and is extremely dangerous to be out in the open like this during a lightning storm. The heat can be outstanding but a great place to be in the spring. In the winter you can find the plains covered with a thick blanket of snow. Deer and pronghorn often reside here along with the field mice, rabbits, and many different birds. But be careful, there are many prairie dog holes, holding a potential threat of snapping bones and ligaments.
